How to Use the Time Interval Calculator

What you basically need is the start time and date and an interval time. You just need to enter these values on the respective input fields and you should get your results by clicking on the Calculate button.

If you want a detailed direction, here's a step by step guide on how to use the Time Interval Calculator:

  1. Step 1

    On the first set of input fields labeled with START, you can see a date and time input fields. Select a date and time that will serve as a basis where we begin the calculation. Just click on the date icon (📅) and the time icon (⏱️) to quickly pick the exact numbers.

    By default, the date and time is set to the current one. You can also click the Use Today and/or Use Now buttons to quickly reset it to the current date and time.

  2. Step 2

    Then, on the seconds set of input fields marked with INTERVAL, insert the hours and/or minutes of time skip or interval. Say you want to know the exact time every after 8 hours from a start date and time, so enter 8 on the HOURS input field.

  3. Step 3

    The final step is to click on the Calculate button to get your results. A table with Time, Date, Days, Count will be displayed. The days means the elapsed days from a starting period. The count is the total number of time intervals.

    Moreover, a total days and total counts is displayed at the footer of the table.

In case where you want to add or delete rows, just click on the +1 More button and it will increment the count of the rows. If you want to delete some of the rows, click on the -1 Less.

Make sure to always check the Elapsed Total Days at the footer of the table or the Date row so that you won't go over your desired duration. If it's just 7 days, don't go beyond that.

⚙️ Start Date & Time

These input fields mark the beginning of computation. You can click the respective icons on the input fields to select date and time. You can also click on the respective buttons below them to use today's date and time now.

📑 Interval

The tool accepts Hours and Minutes as interval or skip time. Let's say an instructor asked you to take a something every 6 hours. This is where you enter that value.

📑 Table of Results

As a result of the computation, this table will reflect all the time, date, days and count based on the start and interval times. A quick summary of the total days and total counts will be displayed at the footer.

📑 +1 More and -1 Less

By default, the table only displays at a maximum of 10 rows. This is for easy usage of the tool. If it's not enough you can quickly press the +1 More button to generate another row. On the other hand, click the -1 Less to delete a row.

📨 Calculate and Clear

The trigger of the process is the Calculate button. Also, by clicking on Clear button, it will reset of all input fields.
